Caught these nice landlocked king salmon up at Shasta, just prior to our Berryessa tourney. Couldn't break the 6-lb. barrier for bass this year, unfortunately, but I had several over 5, which was alright.

Big ones this year.
Well of course the big one 15-12 at San Pablo
and a 7-0 at Margarita in February
Caught some nice halibut 13 and 14lbs in Santa Barbara
and my best white seabass to date around 13lbs.
Good year for bass caught 6 or 7 fish over 5lbs.

I had that fish from Blue Lakes, a personal best around 8 pounds I think.
My first trip to the Delta resulted in a 6 plus that won big fish for the day.
Then there was the 7.78 that almost won me big fish at Clear Lake. Missed it by 1/100 of a pound.

Oh yeah, I won big fish at Ilsanjo this year with one that weighed less than 2 pounds. Not big but $
I caught my first striper around 10 pounds underneath the south tower of the Golden Gate.

Didn't do much as far as bass fishin, but on the saltwater side, I guess I had a pretty good year. Got my biggest white seabass, 23lbs., and also 11 other legals from the float tube, I think 6 of which were over 30". Biggest from the float tube was 15lbs. and I had two 13lbers. I also had 4 other legal wsb (not including the 23lber) from the seahawk this year. Got a bunch of short halibut in the float tube, but not many legals for all that effort. Never really fished calicos too much this year. We hit the "goleta pipe" now and then in my 12' aluminum boat, but we never really got any big fish. We had a couple near wide open bites, but nothin of any size (although my friend broke off a 5 at the boat once). By far my best white seabass year ever, I really hope it continues to be this good. I got some good johnny bass action earlier this year at San Miguel. Decent sized fish, between 3 and 4 pounds, but I caught a near limit of em all on plastic, so that was really fun.

Steve
I deleted the posts with the broken pictures. Sorry it was not working for you.
Nice hali-buts !! Wish the California variety got as big as the pacific variety. That would make float tubing a real adventure.
