Dad's and Son's Fishing Trip
My son and I went fishing at Shaver Lake on Saturday 5/8/10 with a family friend and his son. Pulled away from the dock at 6:15 and stopped fishing about 11:30 we all had a great day.
We trolled back and forth down the east bank towards black rock. Caught 15 fish all keepers. Trolled at various depths catching fish at 30 feet, 20 feet and even 5 feet on what we refer to as our shallow pole.
Most successful combination was a silver flasher with a pink hoochie and two pieces of shoepeg corn. We ran the flasher and hoochie roughly 75 feet back from the down rigger.
Landed both rainbow and kokanee.
This is my first post ever. Hope it helps someone.
