After spending ever wakeing hour for the last ywo weeks doing research for my thesis, my wife told me to go fishing and find my smile. I launched in Empire cut and fished Mildred Island right off the bat I catch a dink on a senko and then another rat on a buzz bait. About 30 minutes I get a 3.2 on a buzz bait. while was getting that fish off I drifted into the tulie island and I flip out my senko and BLAM get a 4.2. I am thinking the day is going to be off the hook, I proceed to mish the same fish twice (once on the buzz then with the senko) and then the bite died. I did catch three or four more dinks on the buzz bait but none were ever close to keeper size. Fishing could hace been better but it beat sitting in the library, and look what I found..... :)

One intersting note, I saw dozens of river otters and I had one hit my buzzbait, it totally freaked me out. The are cute and all but it was a little wierd haveing them swimming all around me. I also saw one munching on what looked to be a crawdad.
