I dont knoe too much about the float tube thing, but I imagine the current would suck in alot of places in a tube.

However, I do know a little about fishing the Delta. Without getting into too much detail and start cionfusing people with alot of talk about the tides, I'll just keep it very simple and Obvious. When its high tide, fish up tight. Some places you will find fish burried way up in the tulies, especially the more pressured areas. And of course on low tide, fish the grasslines and deeper tulies. Tulies with 6 feet or more water at high tide, should hold fish at low tide as well.

If I had to do it from a tube, I would try and stick to the marinas, especially at first. There are tons of fish in all the marinas, so it shouldnt matter which one, just find a big enough one wth enough water to fish and hang on......therea alot of 5lb + fish in there. And, dont be afraid to go BIG on the baits. Those fish arent shy!!!!

Hope this helps a little
Cam
