#4472, "What did Robert catch @ Coyote?"

Man, sounds like some biguns are being caught @ Coyote! Looks like that's where I'll be heading this Friday, with all these hot reports coming outta there! (See Nico's website report from last week for more -- http://www.ichthy.com/reports.shtml -- sure anxious to see the photo of that 10'er, Nico!).
Anybody here care to join me out there Friday morning?
Yeah, we have another shutdown day here at Applied Materials -- 'forced vacation,' as it were, & I'm already deep in the hole on vacation pay, given the honeymoon & all, plus the other **17 days** they've made me take already this year (although I guess I should be happy I wasn't among the 10% that were LAID OFF here last week)!
Suffice it to say, though, it'll be awhile before I'll be able to take another extended vacation! I'm sure glad there are so many FISHING options so close to home -- and they can't take my WEEKENDS away from me (that is, unless there's a sudden U-TURN in business conditions)!
Fish on, bro's!

Jeff, I'd like to fish with you on Friday... What time do you want to meet and could you give me some directions to Coyote?? I've been to Coyote bait and tackle and I have mapping software, but if you can give me any short cuts, I'd appreciate it. Will take me almost two hours to get there,, it had better be worth it.. ha!

At this point, I'm figuring on getting there at around 6:30 or 7 am.
One nice thing about Coyote is that they don't have a locking gate to keep you out outside of posted park hours (although they have a well-staffed ranger station, and would probably track you down if you don't pay the entry/lake use fee, and might have something to say about early launches, if they're around at the time).
For a map, I started with typing in the street address for the *In-n-Out Burger* in Gilroy (641 Leavesley Rd, Gilroy, CA) into the *Google.com* search site, which links you to a Yahoo-Maps function. I just moved east from there.
What is it: 152/Leavesley to New to Roop, then on up the hill? I thinks it's pretty much that simple (funny road names, I know). You'd probably be coming over Pacheco Pass from Hwy. 5, right?
I've attached my resulting map below (you can find the same map & zoom in further on your own, if you choose). I'm going to try putting it in the message body here, as well, to see if I can get this hypertext-string thing right. If it doesn't work, you should be able to at least use the attachment link at the bottom.
Steve, you can call me @ 408-224-9113 if you want to confirm these plans as we get closer to Friday, but I'll do my best to stick to 'em!
