For my Christmas wish list I'll be asking my wife for a new 7' medium power fast action casting rod. I've narrowed down my choices to either a St Croix AC70MF or a Kistler KCBS7 Crankbait Special. They both are made in the USA . This would likely be my general purpose rod for lmb's, crappie, etc. The St. Croix sells for $155 and the Kistler is $139. Between the two which would you recomend? They both seem like really good rods so wouldn't it be wise to go with the Kistler and save $16?
