#3047, "Trolling Motor Help"

Hi Guys,

This past weekend i got to the lake and when i got to my first spot and lowered the trolling motor it was dead. I discovered that it was a blown fuse in the fuse holder that is on the red positive trolling motor cable, since i did not have an extra one i said f*&k this i'll just cut the fuse holder from the cable and connect it directly to the battery. Well to my surprise it still did not work so at this point i don't know if the fuse holder is needed in order for the motor to work.

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

JUANCHO
