I'm thinking of going for largemouth on Friday. I saw a few small stripers in the can last Saturday. Can't say how the bite was, as I took the brother-in-law dunking for trout. That bite was slow, but I fished the east end. Found out later that they stocked on Friday. It takes them awhile to get to the east-end. Trout bite should be wide open later this week. The DFG doesn't plant there anymore, so the rats aren't wasting your time. Funny thing; Last year when the DFG was stocking, wardens would be on the water every weekend. This year I haven't seen the DFG once. Riverside County stocks whitewaters every other week. All good size, so the stripers can't eat them. I haven't caught one under a pound all year. NoTrollMotor
