#4897, "RE: Adjusting Paper Graph?" In response to In response to 0
Jeff, Years ago I had an Eagle papergraph and I found that running the unit full bore on the paperspeed gave me the best results, pretty much the same as LCD units. Due to the paper usage, I only used the paper to initially graph out an area, switching over to a LCD when actually fishing the spot. The inside of the unit gets dirty (burnt paper) and don't trailer your boat with the unit mounted. The paper will loosen up, the stylus can fall out, and you can break the case from the rode vibration. Eventually, you get used to the whirly bird sound.
