As far as I'm concerned the jury is in. I've seen countless threads on the subject, looked at the pros & cons, etc. The worst anybody has said, getting bit-wise, is that there's no difference. Many, many more report that it gets bit better, especially in clear water on sunny days or on a slow pick.

I HAVE, however, seen quite a few people report that some brands of FC have strength issues. So far I've only used the Stren FC leader in 60# and found it to be plenty strong. This summer I will be using FC leaders on my lighter bait rigs. We shall see! :D
