I was at Clear Lake a couple years back and witnessed a BIG BASS come up and grab a fully grown Mallard. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I was 15 feet or so off a floating dock and this duck is just kicking away as we pass each other. Then this fish comes up and KERSPLASH!!! SQUAK! QUACK! SQUAK! QUACK! and this duck is flapping it's wings as hard as it can. The fish aparently on had a grip on it's tail and maybe legs. It eventually let go and the bird took off.
I had the shakes for a week! I want some of those baby duck lures for this spring's tourneys at Clear.
