I've thrown a few and they all swam OK. I am not really sure what could be done to tune one. Perhaps adding a little weight around the hook shank or putting a mojo weight in the belly would help. If you have some small mojo weights or nail weights, you could try to insert them toward the side that is rolling up to help hold it down. If it's not working, you might consider returning it.
