I am undecided about the length I should get--7-2 or 7-11? I will be fishing mostly from shore and just a little from a boat. Target distance is probably reachable with either length. It'll be a combination of open water and weed or algae patches but NOT thick matted grass. I guess that I need to do both deadsticking and walk-the-frog...the latter sounds hard with a 7-11 or a 8 foot flipping stick but CA pro Bobby Barrack excels at it. He uses an 8-foot flipping stick almost exclusively. Maybe a 7-6 as it is right between the other two? Thanks for your thoughts.
