The deepest swimbait fish Ive caught was 60 feet. And I was CRAWLING the bait on the bottom. We knew the fish were in the area, and when we finally started exploring the abyss we caught them. We got a nice bag out of the deep water that day.
No telling how deep a bass has come from to hit a bait though.
Don, you are getting bored! We gotta get you out on the water.
