Yea, I did catch it, and I enjoyed it.
For them's what missed it: It was a pretty decent overview of angling history and I particulary liked the part about the evolution of the levelwind reel. Glad they touched on bass fishing, of course--they even had commentary from Johnny Morris (founder of Bass Pro Shops) and Bill Dance. Other bassin' associated names and stories that came up: James Heddon, Fred Arbogast, Lauri Rapala, Lou Eppinger. The part about tackle box evolution was also interesting. It was pretty neat to note that Ernest Hemingway kept a submachine gun handy to deal with sharks when he went out marlin fishing. The even had commentary from a float tuber.
I could get nitpicky over the little details but it was just a one hour overview rather than an in depth documentary so I won't. Try to catch in when it repeats...
