i caught a bass on 7/28 up at Vincinte and i just received the picture of it.

it went around 8 or 9 pounds.

Maybe 5, a 9 pound calico is a really big fish...that's not even close sorry.

No one here will deny that's a quality catch...but to let people think thats a 9 pound calico is a diservice to all reading...most people have never even seen a calico over 7 pounds..much less caught one. Congratulations on your fish either way.

...I got this one from the rocks last summer on a squid strip. Only had a "human scale", but it did go about 8 pounds on that...23.5 inches in length. My biggest one ever...I was in shock when I caught it. Not much luck on them this year though. Wonder if I'll ever get one like this again in my lifetime?

Try again T. I want to see a picture. I remember when you originally posted about this one. You could probably do a search and find the picture if there was one in the original post. I just thought it was kinda crappy that he got three consecutive posts trying to shoot him down. Shame, shame ;)
