Before I forget all this. I fished from 8:30 - 11:30pm around Anza Cove. 8 spotties, 7 of them legal. None over 1.5 or 2#. 3 were one the big grubs, purple w/ red and multi flake I think. The other 5 were on the new and improved Amish Freak (or Ed Hog as Brian called it). Funny thing was the color, an ugly green resulting from melting Dorky Shads in a Sierra cup. It worked though. Poured up some better looking colors for next time though.

The Amish Freak strikes again (I'm talking about the baits, not you, lol). Bay bass are pretty funny. I wish we could catch bass on weird stuff like that up here. Pretty soon you're gonna have to start throwing trout plugs (mackerel plugs?) in the bay... That would be way cool to catch a bay bass on a slammer. And you think it takes a long time to catch a largemouth on a trout plug...
