personally i would go with the Okuma Guide series "swimbait special" these rods are avaialable at tacklewerehouse for around 90- and they inclusde free shipping.Also th okumas are made for swimbaits.Check out the rod review section to hear more about this rod or just read the posts others have put up about the quality of the rod. brian

If the price is not a issue, I make a couple swimbait rods I am pretty proud of.(see Rago swimbait rod post) since you paid $400 for two 3:16 baits why skimp on a rod you can be comfortable casting all day long. Just some self promotion. David Conway Conway Custom Rods
