Just in case anyone is interested they are cathing a few (and SEEING lots) of dorado between dana point and oceanside recently. Seems like they are coming pretty far north this year. Apparantly they are as close in as 2 to 3 miles offshore under kelp paddies. I tried to get a boat together last weekend to go out and try and spear some, but it fell apart... maybe next weekend.

Dave,

With out a doubt, the DoDos are off Dana Point, and to the South. The 257 seemed to be the hotspot from the number of boats I could see from San Clemente. I was at the DP harbour launch ramp and saw lots of good fish coming in yesterday.
