#3357, "Float tubin' San Diego 9/29/01?"

Hey, you all that expressed interest in tubing San Diego sometime soon. How's 'bout we set a date, time & location?
I suggest San Diego Bay, as we had discussed. Anyone launch at the Dana Ramp?
Ed, since you & others probably fish there more than I have recently, what time of day do you suggest?
How does Saturday, September 29th sound? I guess I'd better finish repairing those waders now. :D

Sorry been busy. Sat the 13th would be better for me, and probably for the tide too. The high is at 7:50, which is early, but we could launch at 6am. This way we can drift back into the "good" areas, then drift back to the launch area with the pull. We should be able to fish for a while before we get sucked back to the launch area. Depending on where we are at the turn around. This is also a 5' swing, the 6th is only a 3' or so. The 6th would also mean a late launch (around 8 or 9) and late return. This is bad for both the wind which usually picks up around 11am, and for me. The wife would be a little bitter if I'm gone all day. I have a TOC with floattuber.com on Sun the 30th and I'll be fishing a lot between now and then. My wife is pretty easy going, but 4 weeks of hard fishing would stretch really thin. After all this long ramble of an excuse, what do you all think?
