Got a message today that the trip is unfortunately canceled because the boat is moving to LA this weekend and not next. Oh well...
The good new is the Stardust is running open party on Saturday and Sunday so I'll definitely hit it up on Saturday in the AM. I know it's not the glory of seabass fishing but it should be fun. Hope to see you guys out there.

Will try to make it on the Stardust on Saturday. Would really like to meet some of you guys. Am debating on going to Morro Bay for some rockfishing this weekend and am shooting for Sunday - but can't say I am 100% positive.

In other news, went on the Hornet today but the fish were uncooperative :) Did notice coming in about 150 people fishing around the bait dock, from shore, from yaks, an inflatable. A couple guys from the inflatable had actually boarded the small floating dock near the main bait dock and were fishing from it-whether this is allowed I'm not sure but kind of doubt it.

Those receivers are private property and I imagine anybody walking on them could be charged with trespassing.

Ok... just made reservations for both the morning and afternoon trips on the Stardust this Saturday. I will be wearing a white Lakers 2000 Championship cap. Look forward to meeting you.

Too bad. Hear the albie (to 35 lbs) and yellowtail were running good 40 miles outa Ensenada. Going there this weekend. Will report.

What a wishy-washy operation (Seahawk). It used to be top notch under Merrit. I could really flame them up good based upon some recent trips under the new ownership but I'll refrain. What's the use, their leaving anyway...
