Just looked at the numbers for yesterdays white sea bass on the Island Tak, what a day. Anyone know where they are getting the whites? Or the best way to find them?

thanks,
dbp

China Harbor, Prisoners, Pedro Pt, Yellowbanks, Gull Island, Cat Rk, Black Pt, Potato, Valdez Harbor, Frenchys, Fishcamp, Goldfish Bowl, and the Santa Ana Capas.
Does this help?

Sure any information is better than what I knew before! Do you know how they decide to stop an any particular place. Metering squid, bait balls or surface activity? (or all the above)

thanks,
dbp

Do you know how they find WSB.
Nonstop unrelenting vigilance. They don't travel at 30 knots from spot to spot oblivious to their surroundings. They run edges and bottom where WSB can be found always and I mean always looking. Squid beds, red crabs, sardine schools, kelp these all hold fish. Meter marks between depths of 22 and 8 fathom should always be carefully studied. LEARN to READ YOUR METER to be a successful WSB hunter and not a fleet follower.

its alot easier letting somebody else find the fish and I can charge in at 30+ knots
I fish trophy boats.
