#7417, "Carp pattern???"

We have a lot of carp here. I have caught a ton of Bass, up to 7+ lb., with a blk/gold #13 jointed Rapala. At times it is the only color they will hit. Does anyone know of any studies that Bass eat carp fingerlings to any extent?

Bud

Agree with Chabot Pro and would add... a bass will eat anything that moves that will fit in it's mouth. Carp are pretty fast and probably pretty wary, so I think if a bass had it's choice between a stupid trout and a smart fast moving carp, it'd eat the trout. But when push comes to shove, the bass will eat the carp, or anything else it can get a hold of :)

I actually caught my biggest bass ever on a carp pattern basstrix. I didnt get a picture or weight of it, so I rarely talk about it, but it was definately 14-15lbs. Gigantic.
