I just read the news from Stanley Lures--so what do you guys think of Jerry Rago designing for them? I'm assuming that with a company capable of large scale production backing him, the pricing should be pretty reasonable. What do you think of a mass marketed Rago bait? What will be the effect on quality control?

I don't expect much to change about the rago baits except that he will now be functioning under a "patent protected" tail design, then again I'm hardly in the know! . It sounds like it will be a good deal for both parties as well as for the consumer. Hurray for more baits! }(

First off congats to Jerry and David. What it will mean is, More availibility and lower prices. This also gives Jerry exclusive use of the wedge tail. So for all the fisherman this is a good thing. For the manufactures who stole his ideas and had them mass produced or tried to bully Jerry by making the stores choose, Look out! Jerry now has the resourses to make his tool at the same or lower price then the copies. He also will be the only one legaly allowed to use a wedge tail design. Score one for the little guy who aint so little anymore.
