I agree, the Lamiglas 806 is a great rod. I use it for flipping and punching with braid. This rod does have a nice tip on it, which is why I like it so much for braid applications. I can see how it would make a sweet frog rod as well.
You never know what you'll catch frogging... I caught this bass and frog on back to back casts. The frog ate my Spro and got both hooks in the roof of its mouth. It was pretty funny.
