Kaweah. Now there is a name from the past. I have not fished that lake since I was a kid. Rapid increases in water level alone will often shut off the fishing. Add to that the fact that the rising water is from snow melt and your water temp may have changed which could adversly affect the bite. Solution...in my novice opinion only...pray for some stable weather patterns and keep fishing.
