Well this past Sunday I fished our club tourney up at Casitas in the down pour of rain. At first I thought it was going to be a very long day. Within the first hour I caught our first fish on the island. By 10:10 I had our limit and was looking to cull out a couple of small fish. But that just didn't happen. I didn't have another bite for the rest of the day. With only an hour left my partner Topwater Terry sticks his only fish of the day a 5.05lber, which helped us cull out a small dink. Well at 2:00 it was weighin time and I knew we had a good chance now after talking to a few others which didn't fair as well. Well we ended up with 14.01lbs good enough for second place and just out of 1st place by .82lbs. Oh well that is how it goes.
