Hey guys, I just joined this sight and it has a lot of awesome posts on it. I am originally from Costa Mesa and now I am out in NM finishing school but I am heading home to see my dad this weekend and I was wondering if any of you had any advice for fishing Newport Harbor or around there. We use to go as a kid but its been a while. We were going to freshwater fish but Irvine has got a couple tourneys and my dad doesnt know the other lakes too well so we thought we just fish the harbor. He's got a 15' aluminum so it should be comfortable for the harbor. Any and all advice is much appreciated on fishing the Newport area.
