I fished Salt Creek this morning for about an hour. Conditions were bad...surf too big and too many weeds. I caught and released 4 surfperch, and 1 yellowfin croaker. I have caught 2 surfperch at once (on 2 dropper loops) many times before, but today one of the little suckers inhaled both baits and was double hooked! They sure are hungry! This has never happened before, and I was wondering if anyone has double hooked fish before...any species.
