Intended to get on a 3/4 day yesterday, but with the usual kid/work juggle I ended up on a skiff at King Harbor for 4 hours. Tried swimbaits and AA curly tails for nada - I've got to get better at blind searching for fish. So picked up some anchovies and got a good bottom bite going on the calicos in the few kelp strands near the harbor entrance. Nothing big, but fun. One guy got a bunch of bass and a few short halibut slooow trolling on the channel ledges with Exude slugs and swimbaits.
