#6023, "Manhattan Bch 5/10"

Hit El Porto last Friday at around 6:00pm. Scored some fish, but nothing worth keepin'. Lots of sand crabs, but hardly any soft shell's. I guess they need to grow a little more and shed. Anyways, I was able to hook into three croakers (maybe a foot long if stretched) and two small perch (6-8 inches). Prety fun for an hour half on a Friday afternoon. My last fish was hooked with a sand crab laced with pro-cure (just trying something new). I'm sure it would have taken it without the scent, but has anyone tried something like this before? I'm still looking to land a corbina this year. Pretty soon the water should really warm up and maybe, just maybe, I'll score.
