i know this isn't about fishing cal, but this'll help if anybody thinks about goin fishin with a charter up there. i went up there on a cruise with my uncle and family so we decided we might as well go try fishin around there. we were trolling for salmon around douglas island. our captain put out diffrent colored flashers trailed by different colored hoochie skirts they look kinda like squid. we were sharing the boat with two other people since one of our guys dropped out and theres a 4 person minimum 6 max. i caught a 7 1/2 lb. silver mai uncle caught a shaker king and mai other uncle caught a 9 lb. silver. no keeper kings at all for us. thats all i got to report. i got pics but i got to develope the film. i'll post it up later.
