It's at the North end of Goleta about 10 minutes from Santa Barbara. It's not a bad place to launch but the waves can be tricky. You need to time the swells and go right after the last big wave of a set comes through.

Directions: US101 North to the Winchester Cyn Rd. exit towards Hollister Avenue. Continue straight on Calle Real. At the second stop sign, make a left and proceed over the bridge. Take the first right at the resort entry monument onto Hollister Avenue and continue on Hollister for a half a mile or so and make a left turn where there is a sign saying you can't. I've been told this sign is just a ploy by the Bacara to try and keep locals out and is not enforced or enforcable. Otherwise you can continue down, find a place to make a U-turn, then make a right turn and go down to the beach parking lot.
