Did my second ever float-tube fishing today (Sunday.)
Launched from the public launch ramp in Dana Point about 6am and fished till about 8:30 or so. Caught six WSB on fish-traps near the bait barge. Smallest was about 18" largest were 26 and 24 inches. The nearly legal ones were pretty fun on my light freshwater spinning tackle. Three other tubers showed up around eight and were fishing bait. Seemed like nice guys but I didn't say much. Two guys in an inflatable skiff were doing well with rapala style minnow crankbaits.
