Sharkgirl they have been realy whackin' the lingcod & bocaccio (you know, those EXTINCT fish! :D) down in Mexican waters on the SanDawg 3/4 day boats. No, it ain't tuna but there's not much finer fish for eating! :)

edit: There are still a few albie & BFT around. Pac Voyager from Seaforth has a 2.5 day going Dec 19-21. At $311 it's too rich a crapshoot for my blood though it seems the paddy YT are still going well. They say they got some good tuna 45 mi south of S.D.

Saw a report of tuna outside the Channel Islands? Maybe one of the landings up there is gonna have a go at 'em?

I haven't written the tuna off yet for this year. I kinda like to think I'm gonna have a reasonable chance though, if I go out.
