i hit the harbor this morning fishing from shore tossing 3 inch hammers from about 9:00am to 10:30am. started with a Sea Wolf and had no action for about 45 minutes and then switched to a Wookie Wacker and in a couple of casts hooked into a feisty 15 inch Sand Bass. i fought that one for a rousing couple of minutes before i managed to get it in (i use a real light rod and 6 pound test)

A couple casts later i pulled in another legal and then proceded to catch one more (short) and a strange looking small brown rock fish that i had never seen caught out of this spot before. a bit windy and i was unprepared for the chill and left earlier than planned.

as usual it was loads of fun and all fish were released to chew again.

i might hit it again tomorrow morning if the feeling is right.
