It always disappoints me when I go through and remove threads from the site. Unfortunately the threads about the kayaker who was killed and the various theories about how he may have been killed, were getting a little out of hand. Whether this gentelman was killed by a shark or simply by falling in the water, his death was unfortunate, and should be viewed as a serious reminder of how important safetey on the water is at all times.
I will be happy to see threads regarding safety on the water, and good common sense practices while kayaking and float tubing. I will not tolerate theories and speculation on how this gentelman was killed being posted on this site. That is for the authorities with the coast guard and the police to determine.
