Went out hooping for a couple of hours with my good friend Eddie, on Friday 12/23, the eve before Christmas Eve. The conditions were very foggy which made for some semi-challenging hooping. Only got 4legals, 2 shorts and a bunch of Red and Yellow Rock Crabs, plus a bonus Calico Bass.

A couple hours later, on Christmas Eve morning, I met up with my good friend John, who so graciously invited me out to go Duck hunting with him, at an exclusive, private hunting club, that he’s belongs to in Ventura County. What an awesome treat it was to be able to shoot some Ducks, the day before Christmas. Thanks a million John, I had a blast, literally and figuratively.

Even though the conditions weren’t the way I like them, clear blue-bird skies and a 10-15 knot warm Santa Ana wind from the N/E, we still managed to kill 6 Teal and 3 Spoonies.

I had a great time and can’t wait to do it again. Fishing and Hunting in a 12 hour period in SoCal, got to love it.
