Grabbed a couple dorks and executed a Mission bay early morning BS sesh. We started in the dark fishing TJWs on the rocks for the first 3 hours. Action was good, but size was lacking. I finally hooked a BIG one, but lost him in the kelp. I tip my hat to that fish…

The mouthing off was WFO! While the fishing proved to be pretty uneventful until that is, I hooked and landed the very rare and elusive Bullfrog-faced Spotted bay bass.
