Just got out of the water at the cematery in SB. Cold, cold and cold! Limits of cold! Wanted to get wet and soak a line before the storm hits. Got one little cabezon, pretty little guy. Other than that, nada. It felt really good to get back into the water. Fished 3 inch plastics, rainbow trout/brown bait colors.

I am going to start putting together semi-monthly fishing tournaments for those in kayaks and float tubes. Basically the format will be that the entry fee gets divided by the winners. I will be looking into having some sponsorship by local tackle and kayak stores so the prizes and raffles should get better and better.

We had a little tourney last year and it was a lot of fun for those who entered. It is a great way to meet guys who love to fish, learn new spots and techniques.

I will post a proposed game plan for these tournaments for your comments tonight or this weekend.
