#1475, "Grisolm Island, Long Beach"

My friend Steve and I had a good time tonight. We tubed Grisolm from 5:00pm - 11:30. I had 8 legal sand bass (15 shorts), Steve had 11 ( 10 shorts), Steve also had a 26" halibut, and I finished the night w/ a chunky yellowfin croaker. All the legal fish were on Roboworm Zippers, oxblood working the best. Junebug, red or orange craw, emerald, and smoke/sparkle also got bit well. Most of the fish were caught in the last hour or so. I can't wait until the water warms (it was 55 - 57 degrees), it's good now and it's feb.

p.s. A small turkey shoot looks to be forming for Grisolm. We want to do it the morning that the Fred Ho Show opens. Maybe a 6am launch, weigh in at 10. We would be parking for free at the Grisolm lot, and the show is just across the street. How much better could it get. Go fish, then spend all the money you win on all kinds of stuff you just "must" have.
