Went surfcasting after work on Friday just north of Half Moon Bay harbor. It was blowing hardcore, around 30 mph gusts.
Threw a Hare Raiser in yellow to no avail. Was so windy my casts were barely making the break. I was wearing my waders, too! Then I headed to the HMB pier to dunk some mussels for nada. Just too windy. Didn't throw for any surfperch, although i heard they were biting.
