#6599, "Only 2 shelf rockfish allowed?"

On the main board Richard Cullip kindly posted a copy of the DFG news release on the July 1st closure of rockfishing beyond 119'.

The news release distinguishes between "nearshore" rockfish and "shelf" rockfish, of the latter of which only two may be kept ("not including bocaccio, cowcod, canary, and yelloweye") when caught "incidentally" within 120'. In the DFG regulations booklet "nearshore" rockfish are listed (section 1.90) and illustrated in color pullouts, but I cannot find a list of "shelf" rockfish, so it is not clear (at least to me) which "shelf" rockfish may be kept.

Does anyone know what the legal "shelf" rockfish are?

Thanks.

Bob
