Not Clear Lake, but rather Deer Slope at Casitas. It was "caught" on a single hook jighead type 8 inch Trout Bait. I say "caught", because I tried to make a monster cast with the heavy (9 oz) swimbait, an succeeded in making a monster backlash. After 10 min. of picking and pulling at the 65 lb. braid (3 fathom #40 flouro leader), I reeled up the slack, and the fish was ON! What a retarded way to get bit.
I now have a Titanium plate, with several screws holding my right wrist together, and five titanium plates and 23 screws holding the right side of my skull together. I do half a day of rehabilitation, and half a day of work at new store in Osaka.
As I get back into the swing of things, I will try to inform you all of any interesting "stuff" from the land of the rising sun.
Nice Fish Rob! Halibut Rock. Looks like that was caught on a Big Trap (or was it a Fish Hammer?)
