I'm sure some of you have already heard but, the fish that Mike Long caught at 20lbs and Jed Dickerson caught at 21lbs won't be making it to 22lbs. It was found floating by a trout fisherman. They called Mike Long in to verify that it was the same fish. It had the same spot on the cheek and was the same lenght as Dickersons fish, Long says it's the same fish. That's a shame.

Second, have any of you guys heard anything about the supposed 22.8lb bass caught out of Spring Lake back in Aug.? It's listed on the IGFA website under "pending records". No one seems to know, or they're not willing to share, the story behind this catch. If it's legitimate, I can't believe there hasn't been more about this.
