I had a chance to read the book right when it came out and let me tell you, if you have even a passing interest in the world record bass ... you really need to get a copy and read this book!

This is not a book about how to fish, this is a book about the people who pursue the world record bass today and the people who have pursued it in the past. It also of course goes into great detail about George Perry and his 22lb 4oz largemouth that got the whole ball rolling. There are sections about Perry, Bob Crupi, Mike Long, Porter Hall, Jed Dickerson, Mac Weakly, Mike Wynn, Jerry Rago, Mickey Ellis and several other people who are 'part of the game' if you will. Once you pick it up to read it, you won't want to put it down :)
