I just sent back two corsairs that were literally full of sand, missing parts etc. etc. and Shimano returned two brand new corsairs no questions asked. The reels were returned back to me well within a week of the day I sent the reels. The sad part is I already damaged one of them surf fishing so if you are going to fish your reels hard I would try getting something else. The corsairs really suck. I know of some dudes that have been able to trade up to a more reliable reel at some tackle tackle stores in the SD area, I tried but the owners would have none of that. I'm totally sure Shimano won't give you a hard time, cause I sent them two reels in the worst possible shape..........

Well Anyhow there's my Corsair story

Tight Lines.................
