I like to just use a flipping stick. I happen to use a kistler 7'6" heavy flipping stick. cz

I use either a Kistler Helium 7 footer in Medium Casting(for lighter weight 'frogs') or their Heavy Casting, 7' 6" model for extra heavy baits and/or extra 'heavy' pads/vegetation.
My backup rod is a 7' Fenwick Techna AV in Medium Heavy action.
