Yo Rock,
Check out the back of the Western Outdoor News. There is a
list of six pack charter boats in the classified adds. If you
have already done that, and have not found anything, just give
Isagosan a call at 909-931-9848.
Ps. Strippers are going off at Silverwood(top water in the
early morning). You can use your new sticks there. <>< <>< <>< <><

Rocky,
The sticks will be able to handle the fish at Catalina. Just
don't try to bounce the fish on the boat or else you will have
to put the warranty to good use :) If you need other gear,
just let me know. I have lots of other loaners you and your
friends can use.
Your Shimano 400te is a great reel. Plenty of drag for the
big YT's. I'll send you an email for tackle and rigging.

PHISHuntR,
The Strippers are boiling all over Cleghorn in the morning.
They aren't boiling that much in the evening, but they are
there. My friends and I fish from shore in the second (larger
cove) east of the tip of Cleghorn. Sorry, I don't know the
name. We usually get them on Top water lures (Pop-R's, Zara
Spook's & Lucky Craft Sammy's) and Rattle Traps.
The morning bite slows down around 9:30am. The evening bite
starts 1-2 hours before dark. Your right, the fish seem to
keying in on bait. They have been small. The larger ones we
caught have been in the 3# range, but the big ones are there.
Just have to get past the little guys.
Haven't had that many LM hit the Top water, but I'm sure they
are in the weed lines. We have seen a few big 10# + LM in
Miller Canyon in shallow, but the area is closed to motorized
water craft.
I'll email a pic of the last evening trip from shore..
I hope this helps bro. Go get'em. <>< <>< <>< <><
