went to pud with john vicari and picked up some nice trout while many others couldnt even catch a fish. anglers tossing powerbait hardly would even get touched. John started throwing his powerworm for nothing and i tossed some trout worms and minnows that i poured a few days ago...i nailed 8 and john nailed 4 for a short time of fishing. bite was horrible for others...but the key was the worms and minnows that i poured...i never expected that theyd actually work...then bam........bendo for both of us(after he switched over!). it was crazy. think i might start selling these things! its pretty sweet catching a fish on something youve made!

We were splitshotting them. His worms were the only thing really getting hit, and i mean hard. We both lost several worms due to a fish biting super hard.

john vicari

Ive gone crazy, i just have this urge to catch a little green thing from water

yeah, just had a little split shot then the worm about 2 feet down. the action of these worms/minnows are awesome. ive made several batches of different colors and the pours keep getting better and better. its a lot of fun. Ive got about 5 different colors that ive poured and still have a lot more colors left to try. The flourescent chartruese with green sparkles and pink worm with silver sparkles were getting the most hits. decided to take a few casts and try the clear minnow with silver sparkles that i poured...and nailed 2 fish right before we agreed to leave. i bought a lot more equipment as well today and about 6 more molds for trout jigs. cant wait to start to pour these things. its gonna be sweet.
but yeah, catching fish on something youve poured is awesome. and watching others catch fish on your own jigs is pretty sweet as well.
especially jasons fish he caught at corona..the 14 pounder that nailed one of my chartreuse jigs...that was cool.
